Meet your Lead Instructor - Kayla Copeland

Hello! I am the leader of the Embodied Breath™ Yoga & Breathwork Teacher Training, an E-RYT 500 and an artist. I have my B.S. in Psychology and am currently pursuing an M.A. in Mindfulness-based Counseling Psychology. I have been honing my skills since the early 2000’s and my intention is to support you in diving deeper into the practices of yoga, yoga philosophy, mindfulness, psychology, and so much more in a beautifully meaningful way.

I have studied extensively with Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City and Aimee Nitzberg in Santa Cruz, California.

I lead yoga and wellness retreats locally and abroad. My teaching focuses on mindfulness, breath awareness, and somatic experiencing while weaving in essences of Buddhist Psychology and Taoist principles. I fuse fluid movement, strength building, and a loving awareness of self.

I cannot wait to share these practices with you and watch all your growth unfold!
